If someone could tell me where my new playground is, that would be lovely!
With this whole graduating in a few days thing I’m looking for as many ways to make money as humanly possible. So, being an art person, I would like to draw stuff for money. I have a bunch of blank canvases and watercolor paper and the digital expanse that is photoshop, so I will happily take excuses to make stuff (for relatively cheap too!). Anything from sketches to full-on illustrations, depending on what you’re looking for. If you have no idea what my art looks like you can check some of it out at adrianyablin.com, but I’m also good at adapting to other styles. I’m thinking b+w sketches will start at $5, rough color illustrations $10 ($15 if there’s a background) and $20 for fully colored tight illustrations (these prices can vary based on size). If you want like an actual painting it will be a bit more depending on size and we can figure that out on an individual basis.
I have no delusions of grandeur and know people won’t be falling over each other trying to get in on this, but I figured I’d let people know that I’m open for business, haha.

Guys, she’s really good!

Sailboat
Calling this a sailboat is like…I can’t think of a proper simile! The point being this ain’t no boat, this is a ship.

Neil Gaiman Addresses the University of the Arts Class of 2012
Gaiman is…not unexpectedly, but surprisingly more inspiring when given the chance. I have some skills that I’m happy to have developed, and continue developing. In recent months it’s been expressed to me that in addition to those skills, I have some talents that should also be allowed to mature. As well, I have dreams goals independent of these talents and skills. Or seemingly so. But the longer and the better I surround myself with honest people, forthright folks, the more I see that, in point of fact: my skills and talents and goals dreams are interconnected. That might seem obvious to most people, but my confidence is at a place where if you compliment me on something I’ve done, I will say “I’m glad you think so” because I still don’t.
Where was I going with this? I don’t know.
I guess what I’m saying is that when you start to recognise yourself in the mirror, the world seems to expand.
For no reason other than that it’s pretty, I desire to have this on my blog.

I like this look.
Save Our State Parks… although I do wonder what would happen if communities were left to their own devices to monitor and watch out for protected lands.
State and National Parks are perhaps the finest ideas man has ever conceived. To lose even one, would be a crying shame, and terrible travesty. Wherever you are in our Union, don’t let yours go.
Best watches!
Let me at those top two!
Also, tumblr, c’mon, we should be able to edit what photos stay in a reblogged photoset!
I want this again. I’m not the mushy type, but the sooner I get to actually be able to look Britton in the eyes instead of at them through a computer screen the better.

Anyone wanna buy my painting from the cat show? It needs a good home that isn’t my mother’s basement :P His name is Carl and you probably have his stapler.
If you like cats and Office Space references, send Adrian a message and y’all can talk price. It’s a pretty damn good painting.
